Pearl Smith is a Supervisee in Social Work. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from University of NC Wilmington. She received her Masters in Social Work from Fordham University.
Her professional experience is vast. Pearl has experience working with children, teens, adults, and families. She has worked in the prison system, nursing home and in psychiatric facilities serving the needs of chronically mentally ill individuals. She enjoys collaborating with families while address the needs of children and teens.
Treatment approaches utilized are client centered, cognitive behavior therapy, and solution focused. Additionally, Pearl is willing to incorporate various therapeutic approaches as needed. Pearl’s specialties are ADD/ADHD, Anxiety and Panic Disorders, Depression, Grief and Loss. Pearl’s focus is helping others maximize their full potential.
Prior to finding her passion as a therapist Pearl Smith served in the Marine Corps for 15 years.
